Yes, a bit. By the time my birthday rolled around it was a quiet affair with just imediate family, and I got kind of used to it. My dad usually made a joking reference to the fact that he missed claiming me on his taxes for the year by 48 hours, and had to wait till the following tax season to get anything back on me. :D

But being overshadowed by Christmas pales to insignifigence with the outpouring well wishes from all you guys. I'm quite blown away by it, for real, not a figure of speach.

My wife has a Dec. 31st birthday. Every year she has to put up with all the celebration and cheering when it is over. ;)
