OK Guys since we are pretty much a male site (sorry ladies) I figured I would blitz the Maxim banner for a few days so you should see it a lot. Click on it and subscribe to my favorite magazine! Or give it as a gift!

Oops I am ALREADY subscribed for twho years now. Maybe you can get the banner for the US edition of FHM mag also...

The Maxim banner seems to be coming up in rotation pretty heavy. Is it my imagination?
Over the last few pages I've opened, it's come up almost every other page. Mind you I'm not bitchin', the girls not hard on the eyes (she looks like she really likes knives). But it does sort of give the page a soft porn feel. Makes me feel a little dirty . . . but I think I like it.

I saw it a few hours ago Jeff. Blatant advertisement if you ask me. I think maybe I should contact the owner of BFC.com and see if he wants me to do anything about this thread. Since I can't do anything about the banner ads, and this thread is Much less eye catching, I think it can stay unless the owner objects.

Yep BFC has teamed up with Maxim!

The banner will be in heavy rotation for a few more days. I removed 9 dead banners and put up 3 new ones. This one will rotate at about 15% based on the percentage of the banners I have removed. I will adjust it down and everyone elses back up in a few days.

Anayway have fun with the rag and get Stuff too as it is a cool rag as well and owned by the same people.

sorry, I would have a much easier time explaining new knives than explaining that magazine in my home.

Once again Tim, you just can't help yourself, can you ?

In just a few short, flaming lines, you've succeeded in debasing and insulting many of your fellow forumites moral convictions, as well as making not one but two religious slurs. Nice going.

Mods, perhaps we could get Tim a personalized, engraved copy of the Forum rules & guidelines, since his memory has proven time and again to be rather short.

RH, I am sorry, but I can not moderate Tim adequately to insure that No One will be offended by things he says. For that matter, I can not prevent folks from being offended from time to time by things I say, no matter how careful I am.

I really don't see that Tim's post is in and of itself a violation of the forum guidlines, which summarized are 'Be Nice'. Since I know that Tim is trying really hard to 'be nice', I think I will remind everyone of the eleventh commandment:

Thou shalt not take thy words or the words of thy neighbors so gosh darned seriously.

A point on the right of free speech: you have the right to free speech (as long as you are trying to 'be nice'). You do not have the right Not to be offended by the free speech of others. Your reactions to others words are your problem.

I have the onerous responsibility of deciding what form of speech conforms to established guidlines in this forum, and deciding what to do about it. In this case, I have decided to write this post. That is all
