Everyone's latest acquisitions!

McNees Mac2 3.5's - I've had the inlay for a minute and made it my EDC, just got the Tanto Vault Boy Edition, and had to have LynchNW make me a custom "nuclear" clip, also put a six vial tritium "nuke" lanyard bead accompanied by a bomb on a leather fob. Currenlty working on a CRK Bog Oak Sebenza 31 "project"....

Reading that Buck was discontinuing the Onset prompted me to finally snap these up before they were all gone!

2 or 3 months ago I got a great deal on one of these Vero Impulses and the USPS lost the knife! I literally got an empty, brutalized box delivered with a chintzy little photocopied note from the post office saying "Oops sorry, this happens once in awhile. This box was found on the floor. Our machines must have damaged your item. Sorry!"

Craziest thing I've ever seen! Well not really... Anyway, ended up getting a full refund eventually, which was nice, but I really wanted that knife. Finally got a new one! This just in from Scott.Maslowe Scott.Maslowe . Thanks for everything brother 🙏

I've picked up a few recently, but haven't had the time to get on BF in a little while. 😑

This is a BEAUTIFUL prototype from my buddy Justin Lundquist. It features a 26c3 (Spicy White) steel with a smoky hamon at 64.5 hrc. Chisel grind with an asymmetrical swedge. Black G10, Ivory Linen, and Dragontail Richlite frame handle, with carbon fiber and ivory linen pins, and a three part hidden ivory linen backspacer. This knife is a 16 piece construction and is completely out of this world!

This is a Machinewise Sonara, which seems to be getting a lot of fanfare lately. Honestly, I've been slightly let down by it. The flipper tab is in serious need of jimping, and I wish the action was as snappy as some of my other button lock knives. They do seem to have the detent firmness dialed in now though. Aside from those two things (which I really think should be addressed on a knife priced like this), it's a really great knife. The closing action is the smoothest I've every experienced. They really know what they're doing with the bushing system. The grind is cool, and I appreciate the mirror finished edge. The machining is really great, as is the rest of the fit and finish. I love that it's an integral constructed knife.

I don't really have a use for this one, but Spyderco was donating all proceeds to the L.A. wildland Firefighter Foundation, so why not? I think I'll clip it to the wife's sun visor in the car or something.

This is the new ZT 0044. I have been super impressed by this one! I was kind of expecting a fairly boring knife to be honest... But the action on this is fantastic, and it's considerably lighter than I expected. An inset clip would really step it up imo. Right now I think I'm going to pull off the button collar and standoffs to give them a custom ano job.

And this was just a fun pick up because my buddy bought one and I was jealous. 😂

Been looking for a black Pro-tech Dark Angel for awhile & finally found one on The Exchange to pair with the tan Dark Angel that I've owned for years:

A rare plain steel version of the Dark Angel sold on ACK 6 months ago. There also are a couple of custom Damascus steel variations of the Dark Angel out there but the only other one I'd want to add to my collection is the plain steel one.

1000002468.jpgHad this for a bit now actually picked it up at blade show this past weekend, and I gotta say its as awesome as I hoped it would be. Just needs a deep carry clip and it will see some serious pocket time over a lot of my other folders.
