Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Have been chasing one of these since they showed them off on their website, stoked to have finally got one with the turtle pattern, I wanted purple, but blue is close enough.

It is as good as I was hoping for :)
 
For me, work knives (kitchen knives) come and go at a slower pace than pocket knives.
When I find a paring blade or Gyuto that works for me, it sticks around a long while.
Still, every couple years I get the itch..
Halfway through the summer season I’m doing WAY more produce than meats. Even cheeses are up..
I’ve never had a Nakiri so it seemed the right time to check one out.
(I’ve got my eye on a new chefs knife too)

I found this one made by Zach Rhymer. Blade is 26C3 (cool!), handle is Box Elder Burl with African Blackwood/stainless bolster & accent.
Today will be my first day using it.
