Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Giving the Giant Mouse GM3 a try. Here's some pics of mine with some size comparisons that I found interesting:

The Zero Tolerance 0450 really might be one of the closest competitors for this knife in terms of size, weight, and shape. Obviously there is a materials difference from S35VN to M390, but the price difference is pretty whopping as well. Anyways, definitely a very striking comparison:

And here it is with it's one remaining GM brother. I kind of hate that I sold the GM1 before having a change to take a pic with all three, but such is life. I utterly love the bowie blade and the handle on the GM2 and it sure does make a great contrast to the slim GM3. Interestingly, with the smaller finger choil, the GM3 actually packs just a bit more cutting edge:

I also thought the comparison with the Benchmade 781 Anthem was a pretty interesting one. The GM3 is one of the few knives in this size range that is actually smaller and ligher than that Anthem. And both share the bronze theme:

Anyways, I'm glad I got one of these at a deal on the exchange and I'm hoping some more time spent with this one will make me forget my nail nick hatred. :D

I picked up this Garrison custom from Jeremy.
It is a BEAST!! You got to like 1/4" thick 01 steel!!

Just got my Spyderco Police 4 with k390 steel, love the knife ,lighter than I thought it was going to be(4.3 oz.)very nice feel this is my first Spyderco Police-did some cutting on oak and paper zips through-take care guys

Blade length? What size gloves do you wear? I like the full 4 finger grip on it!
The blade is 3" overall length is like 6.6". I wear a size large in gloves, and my pinky is about 2/3 on the handle. I don't know what took me so long to buy a smaller EDC fixed blade but I am very happy with it.

My arcform slimfoot man this knive is sweet fit and finish is top notch. This thing flips great if you have ever thought about getting one do it. It's on par with the top dogs

Gotta hand it to Cabelas. Ordered this Thursday night, and it made it from Nebraska overnight.

The knife needed a little tune though. The pivot was tight as the blade needed some centering help. I took out the washers and "polished" them on some cardboard, lubed and cleaned it up, and now its quite a joy. It flys open and closed even better than I expected. IMO this was worth the money over a Delica in both design/quality and the way it fits my hand.

A trio of more traditionally styled blades from A.G. Russell: Large Folding Hunters in yellow Delrin and cocobolo, and a Medium Gunstock in brown Rucarta. I say traditionally styled because these all have some modern features: internal stop pins to keep the edges from impacting the lock bars, coil springs in the rear bolster areas, and all can be opened one handed.
