I’m unsure of the maker. I believe it to be oak up front, brass and leather liners and then African black wood of some sort. The blade is what appears to be a nice Damascus. Dad finds some really cool stuff from time to time. He hit it out of the park on this one.

No lie, it was a vital part of the justification in my head
it's very well made and has the serial of the knife on the back!Its time to retire my chewed up moraknivs that have been thrown about in the dishwasher, left in the sink, left in water as kitchen knives for a few years now. I have decided to outfit the kitchen with replacement serrated blades from spyderco and victorinox and one opinel no.12 serrated. No remorse here.

Parents got me this now discontinued S35VN Tenacious with my name on it for Christmas this year. Only got to open it a few days ago because we were all hit with the flu over the holidays. I don't have any engraved knives so it was a nice surprise. I expect most of my collection to get passed down or sold off, eventually, but this one will always be mine, and that's kinda cool.
