I couldn’t be happier with it. The flamed colors on the hardware are super vibrant! They didn’t look that way at all on your sales thread so I was expecting them to be really muted. It remains an oddity to me that nobody talks about modern Utica Cutlery. None of the big retailers carry them. It's weird. Zero reviews that I could find for this Critical Hit II of theirs that apparently has been out for a year. Curiosity got the best of me.

They must've dipped this blade in paint, it's so thick. The edge is rough, like unintentional microserrations rough. Might be the best price per inch of domestic magnacut. There was no mention of the pocket clip for the sheath, so that was a nice bonus. My hope is that it will check all the boxes of, say, an Izula of the same dimensions.

Bought something a little different than my normal purchases. A CJRB Maximal. Should be interesting to see if I love it or hate it haha.
 
Just in - We Knives Acuminal Vanax blade - and boy am I floored. To say this thing punches above its weight would be the understatement of the year. Like the poor man’s Shiro.

I am truly flabbergasted that they can produce something of this quality at the price point. I have knives that cost two or three times as much that aren’t comparable to the attention to detail/fit and finish of this knife. How are these things flying so far under the radar?

Huge shout out to T Twindog Josey for the smoking great deal on this gorgeous addition to my rotation. Or is it? It’s so beautiful I think I’ll be hesitant to even carry it. Well’ll see. She may spend her life being admired as safe queen.

I included the pic of it next to my Bergblades Alpha - another incredibly underrated quality knife - for scale to give you an idea of its size.

I’m gonna name it Ana because it’s so beautiful it’s like the Ana DeArmas of production knives. 😁 😍

New top me chapman lake knives clk-2d. The anodizing is wild not my usual style but I've wanted one of these since I saw em a couple years ago and finally just pulled the trigger. Its as good as I hoped. Action is amazing, the quality of the machining is up there with the best of em. The button lock feels good and stiff, no blade play at all. Highly recommended knife.
