Go for it! If CRK voids warranty for a cosmetic lazer engraving then I think people here would want to know about that! Please keep us updated.

Ok so asked CRK directly about it, here's the response:

Having aftermarket laser engraving does technically void the warranty on your handle(s). That being said, if you don't alter the insides of the handles or round off the handle edges, we will still service your knife.

I think thats fair game then, and an entirely reasonable way to approach it on their end.
