Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Fresh out of the mail box. Getting back deep into my cheapskatedness, a very cool CRKT Liong Mah Mah-Hawk. First thing you notice is the unique texture molded into the GRN handles - gives it a very grippy feel, not like any other GRN I’ve handled. Then there’s the assist, just enough assist to kick it open with a light flip of the tab, but still allowing easy closure with one hand. It’s *only* D2 lade steel, but it’s hella sharp right out of the box. All in all, another nice example of a decent quality knife that can be had for $40.

New to this, sorry. My dad was a pretty avid collector and I’m just going through his collection after he passed. I’m trying to figure this one out. Chat GPT couldn’t tell me. Very small Al Mar. blade is 1.5” knife is 2”. Any help? Can’t figure out how to post a picture. 4 rivers in handle yellow/tan in color.

Thanks

Welcome aboard!

Does it look like this screen shot I grabbed from eBay? Also, the rules here that as a non-Gold level member, you cannot ask for values or offer it for sale here.

Actually now that I look closely it does not have the loop for a key ring. Otherwise the same.

Yes exactly. Yes, I read the rules and did not ask a price or offer for sale. It is not for sale, but I could not identify it and it was suggested to ask here.

You have to be a paying member, to post pics, directly from your PC or phone.

You'll need to use a hosting site like imgur or flickr, if not a paying member.

Welcome to the site, sorry to hear about your father. Pull up a chair, hang out and post some pics, of the knives.

I think the slightly larger version doesn’t have the key ring loop, or it was removed on your father’s knife.

This is cross-posted from the Spyderco sub-forum:

Just received this early Gen 1 PE ATS-34 Black 2 clip screw Military that I bought off of EB:

This is the only Black 2 clip screw Millie that I've ever seen for sale anywhere.

It joins the 2 other 2 clip screw Millies in my collection -- both have SE Satin blades but 1 is ATS-34 & the other is 440V:

Still need to find the SE version of the Black & the PE versions of the Satins to complete this group of Millie 2 clip screw variations. There are 9 other Millie variations in my collection.

I just got a Kershaw Link in 420HC. They finally started using that steel again. I had one years ago but lost it.

If you use your knife for really hard work, you should try 420HC. It's cheap and it's the toughest EDC stainless steel I have ever used.

It's not on their site. Is this old stock, maybe?
