After 40 yrs in the electrical construction trade, IBEW 38, I got a plaque and certificate to admire. Also a bad back, worn out hip, and severe finger arthritis that I get to feel every day. So at least I got something.

With 25 years of service my company sent me a list a Macassa crystal vase. A framed print or a knife. Than they merged us with Macy's. When i retired. After 36 years and over 27 million dollars in retail sale delivered. I got nothing.

Just in off the exchange - Remette Woodpecker with blurple crystalized titanium handles. It was never on my list until I saw it here on the block, then the finish and blade shape just called to me. Pics don’t really do it justice. Action is super smooth; I’m no good with front flippers, but it thumb rolls and spydie-flicks very easily. Nice size for carry, and very sharp, but I think this one will be kept for special occasions. Thanks

I think this one is more gimmick than knife, Blackie Collins design Rolox II made by Benchmark USA Knife blade retracts into the handle. It clips into the sheath and when withdrawn the blade extends or it can be done manually. Ordered back in January with a gift card I got. It has been lost twice finally delivered 4 months later. The shipper is 28 miles from my home.
