Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I did it again. I wasn’t looking for another knife, and I’d never even heard of Finch Knife, until I saw another flavor of a Cherry Bomb while scanning through one of our vendors’ Father’s Day sales. That one had a black coated blade, which I’m not particularly fond of, so I went searching for a more desirable color combo, and found this red bone version on fleabay. Used, had a few barely visible scuffs, was relatively cheap, so I had to bite. Really nice looking and nice feeling little knife that’s just different from anything else in the collection.

I have a Finch Runtly that I am quite fond of. The shield on mine is advertised as having a Sapphire crystal and it glows in the dark.

Looks like yours might have a similar shield.

Yes, I think it is the same. And it just fell out in the middle of fidgeting! 🫪 A little drop of epoxy took care of that. Very smooth action, but it might need a little cleaning and lube. And it’s insanely sharp.

Got some, what appear to be venerable, Old Hickory kitchen cutlery from Ontario Knife Co. & a meat fork. Sharpening fun on the docket in the near future. 👍

Interesting, OKC marked blade with Old Hickory on the handle - haven't seen that before. And that Zwilling fork is quite old as well. Great finds, and lots of useful life left in all of them.

Lucky score on this one. Vehement Knives MACV-SOG variant, hand-rubbed satin CPM154, blackened brass furniture, mahogany stacked leather.

Also two other recent TRMs, Atom in cyan teal Morphoholic glass composite and Neutron in 80's CamoCarbon.

Love that MACV-SOG! Dark handle and hardware with bare steel blade - nice!

Now I know there's a beautiful pair of pants that goes with that blade!!!!!!!😉
