Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Thorburn L47 - a large (9.3" OAL), sleek, seldom-seen model from André. Bolsters are mirror-polished and textured stainless. Flips like oiled butter.

Ive been trying to resist grabbing an advocate but man that looks sweet and m4! Tomorows payday too... resistance is futile.

Advocates are now sold out other than a few overpriced ones i found so ended up grabbing a lionsteel sr2 and another cold steel recon 1 from the exchange in hollow ground XHP which are in route. That makes 3 recon 1s now so ill have one or maybe two to list soon.

Guys, I present to you my 2 newest acquisitions. I waited until now because I had to wait for all the pieces came together. The original knives were both Bento Box Shop exclusives in M390. Once I got everything assembled, these are the results. Really happy how everything turned out.

Paid a bit too much for each of them but, as they say, "a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush." I'd rather pay a bit too much and have them in my collection, rather than kick myself for being a skinflint and never see one for sale again.

Still feel that way about a ZT0610 that I let go not too long ago.

$143 for the Knifeworks Contego is a great price. They used to go for close to $200..

$143........this week! Nearly perfect. M390 super steel. Great action. Built like a brick shit house. So much jimping. Looks even better in person. Only down side for me is there is no lanyard hole for a cool blue lanyard. :(

I recently purchased this Calavera Cutlery Model 4 from the exchange. It had messed up screws from a previous owner using the wrong bit. Josh @razor-edge-knives was a huge help! He machined some screws to replaced the damaged ones. He also tuned up the lockbar (I couldn't get the knife apart due to locktite on the corby bolts.) I am on the fence as far as keeping this one. It is a tank of a knife. After carrying it around the house though, I may be warming up to it. It carries well and does not feel that big in the pocket.

Generally, I don't like like paying extra for super steels, but this looks great.
I have way too many value knives, but if they came out with a regular blackwashed model I would immediately have to have one.
