AWGD8 how do you like those Orange scales? I was thinking about getting a set of those.

Both from Maserin, Bundeswehr 420 steel and Sporting with D2 blade-not really great for UK as started to rust in my pocket in 5 days just carying it around the house and garden.Humidity around 90% here

I got it from a trade. I love the Allen Putman's scale a lot! It is a bit expensive, but made my PM2 to look and feel better than the limited edition runs . The quality is topnotch ! It feels like another knife than PM2.

The only issue I have is , I can only use a stock PM2 clip. You won't be able to use a deep carry aftermarket clip since the stock clip base slot is chiseled on the scales itself and it does not have any room for other cllip design to align with. If you can chisel it and good at it, it is doable to fit in an aftermarket clip, but you need a bit longer screws since the scale is a bit thicker than the stock.

Also there is only one clip position option you have, which is the typical right pocket tip-up carry. I almost bought a black Putmans scale for your ex PM2 that I bought from you, but I needed a deep carry EDC with left pocket tip-up carry. So Allen Putmans scale is a no go for my intended use on the other knife. (PM2 digi camo)
 
Thanks, it's a very nice fixed blade, I carry it via a static cord with the sheath setting between me and my belt, works great, out of site and quick to press into work.

Thanks and that's what's making this a great EDC, fit and finish are super and as you noted the ergo's work towards keeping it under control easily.
