Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I'm not sure if this is a keeper or not, but it's a very nice design.

I guess this is going to be my introduction too? I just fell down the knife collecting rabbit hole after getting this "Kris" knife (second from the right, made the handle myself just goofing around with paracord.) followed shortly by the knock-off Provoke on the far left, which of course led to me getting the real thing as you can tell lol. After that I ended up picking up a Deviation cause I thought it looked rad and kept getting dinged up ones on Amazon (I'd get one it'd have quite a few marks on it, I'd return it, repeat) so I mentioned it to CRKT and they ended up hooking me up with a coupon code for their website. I ended up getting the blue CEO and the Helical with that.

Then the urge to do something my dumb self had wanted since I was a kid, a otf switchblade, and a expensive one at that... found me a Death Card Bronze Apocalypse finish with a tanto point that I love, problem is I think I want to find a Spartan blade to match so I signed up here in hopes of coming across it's mate so I can hopefully breed little baby death card switchblades.

It don't work like that does it?

I also like other odd weapons, like I've made a set of bolas, I shoot slingshot and traditional sling.

Also, play/collect Magic the Gathering a bit as well.

Hi Mr. UPS Driver that I don't have to blame for damaged goods. :p I just wanted to thank you for your quick rundown of where I should go and things I can do to make my quest a little easier. I like the vibe here, I might have to delve into the shit-posting forum too, but promise I'll be a gentleman elsewhere.

Apologies in advance for the company logo, just don't have another picture right now.
If I have to, I'll take it down, just someone to let me know...

So I finally got to put in use this Shaman... The original scales that I absolutely love the looks of it, were also absolutely un-usable to me,
for the reason that my plams are usually dry ( even in FL) and the knife slopped twice and I almost cut myself really bad...
So I was looking for something not really fancy to replace them, but something usable for work, because I can't wait to push the REX45 as much as I can,
very curious to see how Spyderco does the HT and how the knife will behave when put to use...
So this is the company as you can see, it took them a while but the guy that runs it, FYI, is very nice and the fit and finish is superb !
Outstanding grip, I have the feeling that the scales will absorb at the surface oily substances but I don't really care, I'll ceramic coat it tomorrow and we will be in business !

You might look into having the original scales checkered, like a rifle grip has. It would add texturing to help the slipping. You might try it yourself too!

Thanks for the idea, I was thinking about it but I have a feeling I wont get to this point any time soon…
Bunch of other projects going on, besides work… love the original scales, too bad in my case they are so slippery…

My son is home from the Army for Christmas, and asked for a decent field knife. I rounded up a few options for him to pick from (like I needed a better reason): a well-loved TOPS from my personal stable, a new Becker BK10, and this new CS SRK. He chose the BK10, so I’ll add this SRK to my pile lol. Regardless of any grief regarding the CS/GSM situation, it seems to be a heck of a value at the $45 I paid for it. 198EA29D-3094-4A2B-B5C5-F6EAFE6886E5.jpeg
