Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I got quite a lot of stuff over the holidays! A Boker XXL Kalashnikov, 4.75", my first auto and first knife with recoil! I got a D2 RAT1 and 2, of which I was loving the AUS-8 RAT2, got an amazing project coming up with that... a limited edition Opinel, thing of beauty. Spyderco PM2, my first Spydie, in S45VN, and I just had to get a Matriarch 2. I also found a guy running a great deal and got an Espada XL in S35VN, an XL Voyager Tanto, a Kudu and a GRIK. Also got an Old Timer Workmate, Imperial slippie (3cr, eh, bad action), Schrade boot knife (sharpening practice) and a free CRKT Squid. think I am done for a while, I think!

Nice looking Terminus model. Looks like the handle is generous in size like my new Trident model. Build quality of both seems to be an improvement. Hope you are satisfied.

Thanks! This one has carbon fiber liners; so it's pretty light...
I'm still warming up to the action. It doesn't feel a bit like an Axis or ABEL lock. It's sluggish right out of the gate; but seems to smooth out after that. I'm hoping that it will eventually smooth out across the entire Blade's path of travel.

This is one of those upgrades that makes me wish I'd waited to buy the new and improved version, instead of getting the red G10/D2 version when it came out. I pretty much just use mine as a fidget sacrifice knife at my desk, to save the bearings on my other knives, but I'd treat this upgraded version with a lot more respect.

Do they smooth out over time?
Mine had smooth action right out of the box. That's why it became the fidget sacrifice knife. It took me a moment to get used to the XR lock, but once I did it's practically like a one-legged balisong. It's possible that the detent setting is over tightened or blade a little off-centre.
