Thank you! Its an EXTREMELY impressive knife. I couldn't believe how crazy smooth and thin the edge was when I got it. I had no experience with Real Steel prior and I'm thoroughly impressed. And the micarta definitely spices it up nicely

Nepal Police Service Khukuri, with Karda (sharpening/flint striker) & Chakmak (small skinner). My understanding is that the crossed khukuri on the base of the pommel indicate that it is intended as police issue. Not all police khukuri have the crossed blades, but all khukuri with the crossed blades are designed for police issue (or sold to knife nuts - I mean collectors who want one). I would imagine that rioting soccer hooligans aren't much of a problem in Nepal (Yes. I realize they use regular riot gear too, but even then they still carry them).

Obscure company I never heard of.

From their website;
"Designed" in Europe, but made in ??? (my guess is China, Pakistan, Vietnam? idk)

Hand forged High Carbon steel, w/ 57-58 hrc...
Actual type of steel and verified??? who knows???

Either way, it smells like HC steel, tastes a like HC steel, (1075 maybe?) Looks like a forged blade, sharp-ish but will get a refined edge and for the time being it will find it's place as a new vegetable chopper in the kitchen...

Honestly, I'm not sure how I'll mess with it yet...Tom didn't leave me much to work with You'll definitely see it around though, already touched up the edge and added some tritium
