Correct, Peter's did the heat treat. Ended up at a nice 63 - 64hrc.

That's right, I picked up a Quartermaster on the exchange. Not a fan of the brand, but I like the design. It says it's made in Texas, but I know it came from the same place as my Hoback Husky. Actually, a nice knife if you like modern Kwaiken style knives. It's a little bit of a mystery, other than the blade steel, as I cannot find an exact match on the internet. I don't feel like I am supporting the brand since they are long gone.
