Just picked up this black oxide Izula. Been wanting to try one with this finish for a while. It looks a lot better than the one I stripped and put a patina on. I also compared it to the coated and stainless ones I have and I really like it.

Amazing!! Wharnies are great, those slipjoints are absolutely amazing, and the folding micarta box cutters? Just pure class man 😂
 
Put retention rings from Wise Men Company, the price hurts but it feels better than buying China fakes from Alibaba, (already bought fake Lynch clips and I feel like enough of a traitor) on my Lil Matrarch and Matriarch 2, much easier than I thought it would be. This gives a lot more reach, as well as improving the grip and retention even without a finger in the ring because of the support coming from the bottom. Now just have to do this to my all-black TiCN one...a RAT 1 (as well as a wave) and a PM2.
