Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I bought this Ontario Wraith solely for the translucent handles. It's cool to show people what the insides of a lockback are like, without taking it apart.

I'm not sure if I'll carry it. It's extremely light; almost too light. I'm also not sure what dirt, grime and scratches will do to it.

I'll have to try a picture on a sunnier day!

Two really cool knives came in today. Hopefully they'll hold me over until the Whippersnapper is ready, lol.

First to come in was a pretty special one. A Solingen made Boker barlow featuring damascus steel forged by Chad Nichols out of parts from a WW2 M4 Sherman tank! So cool. The knife also features brown burlap Micarta covers... And a really awesome integral steel bolster/liner!

Just look at that sick integral steel bolster!

Next is a Hogue Deka in MagnaCut steel and Arctic Storm Fat Carbon. I hate the Cerakote and will probably end up blasting and stonewashing it. Other than that, I can't say anything negative about the knife whatsoever. Really nice action, excellent grind (sharp!), great fit and finish. Just an all around really good knife.

A few things:

I'm mainly a fixed blade collector, but I just gifted my old Hunter pro(a different one with the hole) to a friend, & I needed a new one.(This is currently my only quality folder)

I chose this over the alox, I just fell in love with it.

This is a really beautiful knife.

I'm very happy with this Swiss made quality.
