Also, it seems I forgot to post this Case from last week, just so happens to also be a Stockman, in Dichrolam.

Got a couple of Bokers in, both of which I've been wanting for a while. The Boker Plus Roundhouse has a 3.5" D2 blade and carbon fiber scales over thick stainless steel liners. It's an Americana collaboration designed by Lorien Arnold (Canadian) and Bruce Bingenheimer (American, who passed away four ago). It's an overbuilt knife that fits great in the hand, in a Zero Tolerance kind of way, but with D2 steel instead of higher priced steels. 5.64oz is going to be more weight than some people want in a folder, but it's just fine for me. The Roundhouse also isn't an especially pricey knife, but it gives you a lot of value for a price you don't expect to see a lot of hard use folders listed at. It's definitely one of those knives that's hard to put down once you pick it up.

The Boker Plus 'The Brook' has a 2.75" VG-10 blade and brook trout marking decorated G10 handle with a full tang. It's part of a set of three knives designed by Joe Mangiafico, to celebrate North American fly fishing. This knife is very heavy for its size. At 4oz. it's actually heavier than my Bradford Guardian 3, which has a blade that's nearly an inch longer. It's also very badly balanced towards the back end, which for me is a bit off-putting. Just a few cutouts in the overly thick tang would have really helped with both of those issues. I suppose you could use the lanyard hole to make it into an improvised combination fishing weight/flasher for non casting lines? It's a pretty knife, but just not as practical as I was hoping it would be.

A bit of Spyderco recidivism to go along with the fall colors:

Mini review?

Dragonfly. My first. Amazing little knife. Everyone is right. It’ll probably find its way to my daughter-in-law.

Native Chief: Also my first; I’ve been wanting to try one out. Great knife. Well made. Good in the hand. Small and light for its size. Not my cup-o-tea though. It’ll sit in my safe until I can find a home for it. (TBD Gift maybe?)

PM2 Wharnie: I respect the PM2 and have a burple that’s a garage-task slayer…but I’m not a ‘PM2 guy.’ This Wharnie? GTFO AMAZING. 💕💕💕💕 I have no use for it at present so it’ll sit around for a while, but oh baby the day is coming!!!

Finally got my hands on a 110 Pro at a great price, been a long time since I've had a 110 in my hand.

110 10.27.22.jpg 110.2 10.27.22.jpg

Pars up nicely with the 112 pro.
110 & 112 10.27.22.jpg

Really like them both a lot, "upgraded" classic lockback(s) with a solid build quality in hand.

Carrying with a sheath isn't all that bad either, frees up the pocket and less wear...

The hunt is half the enjoyment I find.👍
Indeed it is. Once the pro 110 & 112 became discontinued I was kinda bummed as I was mulling over the 110 (already had the 112). Did many builds on the custom shop but was still undecided and finally found one at a good price that was brand new unused.

Still a great, classic, working knife.
That's kinda where I'm at with my knife buying, it's fun to look at new things but... I always come back to the classics.
