Beautiful combo!! I love the Thorburns but I have to say my all time favorite are still shiro's just wish the price tag was not so much.

Can I ask why you prefer the Shiros over the Thorburns? Owning but one Thorburn and no Shiros I prefer the aesthetics of the Thorburns.

They are both amazing but in hand for me the shiro's feel like they have slightly tighter tolerances,better in hand,they just feel more sturdy,it is only by a little bit though but enough I can tell. I don't think they are worth as much as sometimes double the Thorburns price tags imo and hope that their prices start to go down. But don't count on it.

I've been checking it out for a couple weeks and today I picked it up. I don't know what steel it has I don't know where it was made but I just like it

Today arrived both my second Grohmann (#4 Carbon), as well as my second ZT...(770CF)! I've got a smile that just won't go away, can't wait to put these beauties to work! :D
