Everyone's latest acquisitions!

Just received this Gerber"Loveless" Guardian I:

Which I can finally pair with the smaller Gerber "Loveless" Guardian that bought long ago:

And joins 2 Gerber Mark I's (the shorter 4 3/4" and longer 5" variations) and a Gerber Command I (partially serrated) in my collection:

There is also a rare two sided serrated version of the Mark I -- called the "Tactical" -- that I'd like to buy but have never seen one for sale yet. Still looking for that one. See: Mark I Tactical (Model 5610).

Also still looking for a black (not cammo) version of the Guardian II to join the Mark II and Command II already in my collection. Lots of them out there but all of the ones I've seen are either over priced and/or in very poor condition.

If I may ask, is that better than the Silverax ?? If so, why?

That seems like an odd comparison to make. Apples to oranges to me.

FWIW, I still own an Amalgam and owned/sold a Silverax. The Amalgam is an excellent general purpose knife that doesn't get a lot of attention. The blade shape is similar to the Kephart that many fixed blade users love for it's stength, cutting ability and overall utility.

The Silverax looks nice but the shape of the handle makes it uncomfortable/difficult to hold at normal angles and the pointed leaf shape design of the blade also limits its strength and usefulness, which are among the reasons that I sold mine.

My haul this past week. Still have 4 others on order or already shipped... Had to sell a watch and trade a Sebenza 31 to support this habit.

CRK Umnumzaan in S45VN, traded with my spare Sebenza 31 drop point in S45VN. Stabbed myself 4 times trying to break in the ceramic ball detent, will resume training tomorrow.

Got these two Maxace Goliaths in a couple of days ago.
I buffed the steel liners, pocket clip, stand offs, blade spine and bolsters on the Bowie (S90V) to get more contrast with the green canvas micarta scales.
Goliath with full flat grind and M390 blade steel left as received.
