My new favorite blade. Build quality is great, the weight is good for edc, blade shape is sweet, ergos spot on, and it's super slim too.

^ That is a cool little blue knife!! Serrated, huh? Is the aluminum like the Runt or does it have a finish more like the Calmigo? I can't tell from the pix.

It's smooth just like the finish on the TR-3. What a sweet little auto!!
Flies open just like all my other PT autos and locks up TIGHT!! Feels great in hand also!
Went with serrations this time.....they're nasty!

Just got these from Peter Rassenti and they are amazing . They are on bearings and it's like silk when they open. I am gonna be blowing up the threads with pics of these bad boys for awhile. These are getting a lot of pocket time.

This is my first knife with elmax steel, I was curious how it compares. What is it that you don't like about it? I remember reading that it's a great steel when coming from a skilled custom maker but that companies often don't get the heat treatment right. The N690Co on the normal version is pretty much my favorite steel usually. Good balance between the price on the one hand while also stainless, easy to sharpen, decent edge retention...
 
It is probably my own fault, but with 3 knives with elmax steel that I had so far I never got them sharp enough to my liking. I am using the dmt aligner set and some other stuff and so far s30v, m4, s110v and m390 never proved to be much of a problem.

Maybe it has turned into a psychological thing by now ;)

Still, a very cool knife and I really like the looks of the titanium scales. I am sure you will enjoy it quite a lot!
