My Yojimbo 2 has sat forgotten for a long time in my tool chest, stripped stop pin screw, messed up/cracked cheap micarta scales. I just ordered some quality od green linen micarta scales and titanium screws for it. It will soon be back in the rotation.
Which is good because my customized PM2 has gone missing. I am exceptionally good at hiding my knives in my checked luggage, and have until now have never had one one stolen, which I suspect is the case.
Three knives were hidden in my rc truck's battery slot (yes I took it with me and it was a riot), two in shoes, one in the box, and the PM2 the zipped pocket of a shirt.
The bag had massively been rifled through. Granted, I had checked a firearm, but on the way down the bag was unmolested. Most of my knives were in my other checked bag.
So, now I'm trying to decide what to replace it with. I'm considering the Wharncliffe CTS-XHP PM2, however I'm planning on going to the GAKC show in St Louis this month, so I may save my shekels for something more unique. For over 9 years the PM2 has been rough ne of my heaviest users, a long with the Manix 2 and GB1.
That blue Biryukov in S390 has been calling my name though.
