BTW, I decided on the fly which was a keeper and which was a gift, based on a few small things which caused me to keep the Sachse even though the name is stupid.

* The Serene is bigger than the Sachse even though they both sport a 3.5" blade.
* Also, the Serene aluminum handle is less grippy than the micarta of the Sachse.
* And the Sachse could be dropped many times and not show damage while the Serene would get ugly pretty fast.
* Lastly, the 9cr18mov steel on the Sachse might be better than the D2 on the Serene for my needs.

Thanks for the congrats everyone - seeing our 31st anniversary must mean that I'm either not all that bad, or that my wife is just exceptionally tolerant of my shenannigans...

So, while she sleeps on the first night of our 3 day holiday, I'm going to post the most recent incoming instead of waiting until Tuesday when the other 6 in transit knives have also arrived.
