Everyone's latest acquisitions!

I don’t post too often in these, but just had to share. Just got my grail CRK today, a large Sebby pdw in magnacut. And the crazy thing is this one was born on my birthday, so I get to tick off the “birthday Crk” box as well :) Thanks to the incredible BF member who was willing to give me the chance to trade into this beauty!!!

Also, you need the Damascus version too - it's beautiful. I have a tan/blue 9Cr18MoV user, a Damascus user, and a sealed spare in Damascus... It's hard to capture the shiny reflectivity that makes it look like Damasteel in a way.

Ya know, I’ve never been a big fan of Damascus blades, but this one does look pretty nice.

I went through a bunch of my desk-toppers and a few others I hadn’t fiddled with in awhile. Two things stood out above everything else - 1, that ZT 0393GLCF is a BRUTE. The blade has some serious mass, so much that it just about can’t be flipped open while held vertically, the blade is just that heavy. And 2, this Civivi Baklash might have the nicest flipper action of all my knives. It just flies open as if it’s assisted, even though it isn’t, smooth as silk, yet it’s not drop-shutty loose. I don’t know how they do it, but I love it. I think it might give my Bucks a little reprieve from their pocket time, it’s that nice.

I was actually sad to read your protech malibu suffers from lock stick. I guess I got lucky because none of the three I've purchased do. Hopefully it works itself out for you because it really is an amazing little knife!
 
Finally home after being out of town working for the last two weeks and a box was waiting for me. Thanks to G Greg02 ! This thing awesome. I may have to fiddle around with the pivot and make sure it's lube. Maybe ill look for someone that can do some engraving to the handle since I seriously doubt I'll ever let it go. Lol.

I think it might be better if we didn't figure out how much everything on the forums was worth! 🤣 Might open a can of worms you don't want to touch! Would we value everything as new? Wouldn't he value increase each time something is bought and sold on here? Haha!

Good point. I paid I think $105 for an S30V PM2 in 2014, now they are like $185? My GB1 was $135 in 2013. I think I paid $150 for a ZT 0801 when it first came out. Inflation is a bitch, and would make the calculations that much more difficult and time consuming.
