Everyone's latest acquisitions!

My friend @DocJekl sent this one along to me, a nice Damascus Civivi Praxis, I polished up the blade as the Damascus was a little cloudy but Flitz and some time brought it back to mirror like pretty quickly.
And some time on my stones got it razor sharp as well.
Thanks again Doc, much appreciated !

I added a nice lanyard to her as well

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that bead on the lanyard? My wife would love that.

It's a pretty nice bead, found it on the big river store, the back is open but still ties onto the paracord securely

Used one of them on this folder as well,

A couple more light-duty grabs, because I have no idea why. I’ve been wanting to check out a Petrified Fish, and this Twigshark checked a lot of (imaginary) boxes. It definitely lives up to the hype - great looking, excellent fit and finish, quick and smooth flipper action, overall an awesome knife for the price.

And then I had just seen a Larrin Larrin interview video, followed closely by somebody’s post about a magnacut Leek, so that’s how that fuse got lit. Also a sweet piece, typical Kershaw quality, though the pivot feels a little tight, as the blade doesn’t always want to fly all the way out. I’m sure that can be rectified easily enough. Got one more coming, a Petrified Fish Grow, and then I need to stop because I’ve run out of room to store the knife boxes.

Edit: Yep, a tiny tweak of the Leek’s pivot screw, and now it flips just loverlily.

I didn’t even know the Leek was available in MagnaCut

Just traded my Pro-Tech Malibu for a CF/M4 PM2. Gonna franken it with my current PM2's burlap micarta scales

First new knives in a while! Spyderco chef and Kamara. Still unsure wether I like the lock on the Kamara or not. Another malibu in blue with magnacut. A custom from Gjcustomknives Gjcustomknives . The pictures don't do it justice! The handle is perfect, the blade is crazy sharp. Nice and smooth where it's supposed to be and a laser when it comes to cutting! Also in magnacut with an acid wash. And last but not least, a 690 first production run. It showed up in a local shop still in the box out of a collection!

Did you see the ones with the coat blades? And black/red gradient handles? I couldn't decide which I liked best so I bought all four. 🤣
Yeah - I had to think a bit on which one I wanted. I recently got a Rike with red/black marble-y handles, so I went with the blue-black gradient on the Leek. Then I just liked how the stonewashed blade looked with it.
