It flips great, but the detent is too stiff for it to be as smooth as it wants to be. I'm going to take it apart and lighten it up a little when I get a chance. The backspace looks amazing, the whole knife is just gorgeous, really.

Just bent a little tension out of the lock bar and can happily report the action on this thing is just about perfect now. Flips hard, buttery smooth action and I wasn't able to wrist flick it open so I'd say the detent is still stiff enough. It was falling closed under its own weight, so I cranked the pivot down about as far as I could, until now it takes one shake to get it started.
 
Left handed Keith Coleman. Found this at a gun show this weekend. While I didn't know much about it, being a lefty I had to buy it.

Good job, I am not shy to do that myself when it's needed.... Sounds like an awesome knife you have there now!

Keith used to put out exceptional work and I always wanted one of this LDC series tactical folders. I don't know what happens to him as he kind of fell off the map but everything I saw out of him was nicely made. You have a good eye and the knife looks like it will make a fine carry piece.
 
I made a bead out of my Meteorite. It is a Russian Sikhote-Alin meteorite so I paired it with my CKF Ratatta.
