Dear friends!
I'm trying to find out full list of Military models was ever in production.
Thank you!

standard models:
- ATS-34: 1996-1999
- 440V: 1999-2001
- S30V: 2001- present

sprint runs:
- CF & S30V: 2004 (400 pcs)
- CF & BG-42: 2006 (1500 pcs)
- FGG10 & CPM D2: 2007 (1500 pcs)
- CF & S90V: 2008 (1000 pcs)

but I have been wrong before :D

oh yeah, and all current models have the second support liner

Thank you, brj, but as I know with ATS - 34 there are 2 kinds - with 2 and with 3 screws on the pocket clip. Do you know smth about this?

The model was first produced in 440V with a two screw clip.
Steel was changed to ATS-34, still with two-screw clip.
Clip was changed to three screw.
Steel was changed back to 440V.
Steel was changed to S30V.
S30V and carbon fiber sprint run.
BG-42 and CF Sprint run.
Second partial liner was added.

The second liner was added to the production model after it was introduced on the BGCF sprint run.
Of course, there are also various edge configurations, laser etch and diamond engraved blades, and some early models with an eccentric pivot. Altogether more than I can keep track of.

Thank you, yablanowitz, do you know about limited editions (like for Spyderco Forum in 2000) ?

I've seen pictures of them, but that is all. I believe it was S30V and G-10 with a palladium Spydiebug inlaid in the handle and forum etch on the blade. The Deacon knows more about this stuff than I do.

Truth is, my knowledge of the Military is very limited as I more or less ignore right handed liner locks. Can tell you the steel on the Forum knife is 440V, the clip is a three screw, and the handle, as you noted, black G-10 with a fairly large palladium "bug" inlaid in the left scale.

Beyond that, know the choil has been jimped at several points, smooth at others, and that at least some of the earlier ones had eccentric pivots, but I have no idea of the timelines for either.

The Deacon, if you will decide to sell your forum Military, just let me know :-)

Paul, I knew you had one of the Forum Millies, which is why I said you knew more about "this stuff". I had seen your picture of that Military, but I couldn't make out the steel mark. ;)

If a person wanted to assemble a complete collection of Military variations, I think that person would need the patience of Job and Donald Trump's wallet. There must be about forty to fifty major and minor variations, and it won't be easy to get that serrated D2 away from its current owner. ;):D

I know nothing about serrated D2 - could you tell some more? It was in production?

It was a special one-off for a serrations nut on the Spyderco forum. They took one of the PE D2 ones and Spyderco put serrations on it. Only one in existence (or maybe two if Sal has one?).

Thank you, Th232, for sure it will VERY HARD or impossible to get this one :-(

D3/SE- I think im glad you live in the Netherlands. You look upset and like you want to stab something!;)...
- And you should have a smile on your face with that nice piece of steel in your hand...:D....Enjoy..
