Gentlemen:

For your consideration is a new design collaboration between a client and me - the Ewing Special. I made this model in O-1 for a change - a good steel with a big following. The deeply hollow ground blade has enough belly for skinning and enough point for field dressing. The blade was ground to .025" with 20 degree bevels ground with 220 grit for a toothy edge that will last a long time in the field. The knife is deceivingly light for its size due to the deeply hollow ground blade and hollow ground/tapered tang. The green/gold double dyed Box Elder Burl scales are stabilized and have lots of figure. The solder joint is straight and true with no pinholes - superb fit and finish. I hope you like it! Thanks sir been waiting for the day to buy one of yours.. This one was the right design and the right size. In Texas we can get arrested if we edc knives over a certain size.
 
Money sent sir. This puppy is going to go into a tight rotation of my edc's in the oil field, please make that sheath slip proof as reasonably possible.
