Here is an extremely good example of a vintage jack knife. From what I can tell this knife has spent its life in an antique store or otherwise, barely used, with the blades still full (very lightly sharpened, if ever) and no cracks in the beautiful bone handles. Excellent character in these scales too!

This thing has as good if not better walk and talk than any traditional knife that I've handled. Perfect snap - about the same weight as a Swiss Army Knife.

Super solid feeling in the hand, it is still absolutely a knife that could be carried and relied on.

The tang stamp reads:

I've narrowed the age down to 1911-1939 using online resources.
