I sent my SNG in to Strider a few weeks ago for some minor issues with a sticky lock, probably a little nit-picky on my part to be honest. Today I received a call from Strider and they offered to sent me a new hand picked replacement knife.

Josh (I'm pretty sure that was his name) said they could no longer detect any stickiness with the lock, but he would want his knife to be perfect if he had paid $400 bucks for it, hence the offer for a replacement. He actually even offered to upgrade to a digicam blade model they had in.

I was extremely impressed with all of this and will definitely continue buying Striders. I have always heard they have the best warranty in the biz but it is another thing to experience it. Hats off to Strider. And to anyone looking for a knife to buy, and most of all USE, Strider can't be beat in my opinion. Just wanted to share the good experience.

Gotta love strider, I sent a knife with a crack above the stop pin and they replaced the blade!

There's another similar thread below this one. I posted there yesterday. I am so impressed with these guys...

I bought a PT used. One previous owner broke the tip and then did a lousy job of regrinding the tip, but it was close enough that the owner before me was unaware of it. I saw this once I had the knife in my possession. Sent it to Strider to regrind and make it look like it's supposed to. They reground the blade, sharpened it, but couldn't get the pivot out, as one previous owner had glued it in so tightly. Strider Service finally drilled it out and put in a new pivot, and it's now on the way back to me with a tight lock, reground and sharpened blade and problem free. All for $15 mailing fee.
I would challenge you to point out any other company's Customer Service that would do something like this for a new owner.
Yes, I'm impressed. I presently own five Striders in various flavors and I'm proud of every one of them.
