I dont know how to payback your excellent customer service, so im encouraging myself to make this thread.
Last time i post on the forum turn out not very good. Im here because im just liking knives, didnt realize that fakes, copies and similiar are not very comfortable topics. But yeah im learning, and i know how it feels when someone just copying your work :grumpy:
I never bought higher end knives before. 551 is my very first time buying knives over $70. turn out its very very nice. Well worth for the price.
Got the knives from Kershawguy. Dave is very nice guy, he helped me to find serial number that i want, 007. At least it is close, i got #1007

Sadly he wont shipped it overseas so i have to shipped it to someone else. I have been lurking some custom maker, and finally i choose Phillip Dobson to do custom scales. I choose burlap material, i think its from Fod. Phillip did good job and have good price also, but little bit dissapointing. The liner on one knife got sanded. It make sharp edges, especially on the choil/ index rest? I think the only solution is to re sandblast or stone wash it. I dont have the set up to do this job.
It would be better if i can replace it with a new one. So i emailed ZT Cs. At first i was lying to Cheryl. I said, im accidentally bent the liner when i want to change it with aftermarket scale. Im afraid custom job will void the warranty.
After some emails, and hard negotiation with the management because they said never sell this part, she asked me to showed the pictures of the liner. Right now i cant lie anymore, so i told the truth and sent the pictures. And im happy she granted me to buy it with free shipping.
It take 2 weeks to arrived at my house. And im surprised they ship it 1st class + registerd mail service. The shipping itself cost more than i paid for the liner. It just amazing, you guys still want to deal with liar customer
