I most usually hang out in the Himalayan Imports Forum and it's my greatest pleasure to be able to make my very first post in here about an excellent dealer in fine quality forged kitchen knives as well as agriculture related blades, all slip joints I think, (some very nice hawkbill styles)as well as others. Some models of the agriculture knives are handled in some really fancy, and sometimes nicely figured woods, I understand from talking with Wayne online.

I've been searching for quite some time for excellent quality kitchen knives and have handled both the Henckle's and the Wusthof Classic lines and I had just about settled on the Wusthof's Classic because they are all forged when an old dear friend told me about the Two Oxen or Dui Buoi Knives made in Italy that were more than comparable with those I had been looking at.
I knew this old friend wouldn't steer me wrong and I ordered a very substantial set, not necessarily because my sweet wife needed them, but because I wanted them for her.
They got here day before yesterday and I am very impressed with the heft and hand finishing in these knives and especially since they were a whole helluva lot less in price than the Henckle's or Wusthof's.
Wayne also told me that the Due Buoi were well known in the European Market although unknown or almost unknown here in the states.
Wayne is the exclusive dealer for the knives here in the states and is trying to break into the American Market.
I messed up on the initial order and failed to order the paring knives my wife wanted. An e-mail to Wayne and the problem is solved. Wayne sent them out yesterday priority mail and they should be here by Saturday.
I recommend Wayne as highly as I do Uncle Bill in the Himalayan Imports Forum for Nepalese Khukuri's.
