Excellent entry-level priced custom Olamic Compact Wayfarer

What I have up for sale today is a custom compact wayfarer in red texalium and Carpenter CTS-XHP.

I did a deal for this knife a couple of years ago from a fellow member of bladeforums. I sent the knife to Eugene at Olamic to have a couple of things fixed. The detent was extremely soft. It is now a medium detent and flips well. I also had Eugene cut a forward finger choil to alleviate the ugliness toward the ricasso .These blades normally thicken quite a lot toward the back end and make for some ugly sharpening.

These blades normally go for $700-$800 USD. This one has a couple of light scratches in the titanium that could easily be polished out if that were your intent.

When this unit was down at the makers getting a few repairs done the certificate of authenticity was misplaced.

Hi there folks, what I've got for your consideration tonight is 1 Wilson combat umnumzaan and one monkey edge frag pattern titanium scale for a three and a half inch xm-18 with matching stainless steel lanyard bead. Both are in excellent condition but have been used a little.

The Wilson combat Umnumzaan is a really nice example of an Umnumzaan. Most of them that I have sharpened in the past are set at 25 degrees per side from the factory. This particular one was set at 20 degrees per side and the secondary bevel appears to be the same width if not skinnier then those other examples. Therefore the math says it comes down to a thinner edge. It also says that there is more blade there 4 repeated sharpening processes.


There is just a leather lace lanyard tied onto the knife currently but it does come with the small Wilson combat lanyard bead.




I am asking $500 CAD net + the cost of whichever type of shipping you would like.



Next up is a titanium frag scale for a Hinderer XM-18 3.5

I will throw in a matching stainless steel bead with this item.
