I have been meaning to post a thread here in the GBU, since I am unable to leave ++++ Feeback for a member here, (Marcel Weisshaar) who provides an exceptionally professional, quality service, here on BF.

I came across Marcel's thread posted in: The Custom Shop- Services Offered Forum, & decided to give him a try:

I sent Marcel, my ZT 0200 Military Folder, Benchmade 630 Skirmish, & Strider PR fixed blade, & requested his VIP mirror polished knife sharpening service for these three.

-Communication from Marcel was great; I was kept updated, until my knives arrived back home.
-Turn around time (from the day I shipped) took only about a week and a half.
-The skilled professional workmanship that Marcel performed on my knives, surpassed my expectations. My knives now, look so much nicer with their beautiful mirror polished, wicked sharp edges. My Strider PR is sharper & cuts better than it ever has before!

Marcel has sharpened all my knives - tantos, hawkbills and standard blades alike - flawlessly. The sharpness and appearance is absolutely consistent over the entire edge on every knife I've gotten sharpened from him. He is careful not to introduce grit to the mechanism of the knife and follows specific requests exactly. Moreover, he is very pleasant to communicate with, packages his knives securely, and has a very good turnaround time. I highly recommend him as well.

Sorry about the commas... I've been writing too many dry research papers these days.
 
I was wondering the same thing Rev. However he did it, the results are great!
(The others are looking good too)
 
Marcel is Top Rate! He did 3 knives for me, one be came chipped during the trip back to me. I informed Marcel about the chip, he had me send back the knife and fixed it free of charge. All his edges came back hair popping sharp. A good guy and great communication. Highly recommended to anyone considering getting work done by him!
 
I'm going to add my recommendation for Marcel's work in here. He did two Emersons for me... an Endeavor in the photo below, and a micro-Commander shown in the bottom pic. The Endeavor is now a traditional double-beveled knife. Both sides are mirror images of each other. That means that the new center of the cutting edge is perfectly centered in the middle of the blade. The angle on both sides is 20 deg so I can touch up on my SM if I want to, and the bevels on both sides have the same mirror polish. The micro-Commander is still a single-beveled knife, but it's also been mirror polished and is an easy touchup on my SM.

I can recommend Marcel's work with no reservations at all.
