I know, I know! It's been a while...what can I say? You guys keep me busy! I made this double-edge a couple weeks ago and it really looked nice. It's one of the few that I made just to be making, no one ordered it in other words.

I got the stabilized spalted maple at The Blade in Atlanta this year and it just looks so nice on a blade. I butterflied the slab so it's almost the same pattern/design on both sides.

All my double-edges are Model X (10 for you non-Romans out there)
But this one's handles go one way with somewhere to grip.
Here's the specs:

Model X
serial 053
Stabilized Spalted Maple, split and butterflied
Black fiber liners
5/32" 440-C Stainless steel
blade length 4 3/4"
overall length 9 1/4"
weight 7.1 oz.
American made, custom-formed leather sheath
SOLD TO A BF MEMBER. THANK YOU!

Thanks Pwatcher!

I forgot to add that I can easily turn the one side into a false edge to make it legal in the 50's! I did that for a guy one time and it just made his day!
