Exchange forum policy question

I read the rules regarding the exchange. I'm looking for clarification... if I post something for trade as a basic member (which I believe is allowed) and someone sends me an email or private message requesting to purchase that item, is it in violation of exchange policy to accept their offer to buy (since I don't have a gold or platinum membership)? Is it okay as long I don't initially request it as a sale? Any advice or clarification is acceptable. My only exchange experience so far is as a trader or buyer. Thanks!

I am not an official here but believe
You are not suppose to sell from the trade forum. It is poor form for someone to ask you to since you don't have the proper membership level to sell , and poor form for you to accept it IMO. At the top of the trading forum it says no selling. If I were you I wouldn't get involved it can only lead to trouble. IMO it is subverting the rules. Would you get caught-likely not so it is going to be up to your conscience.
I presume this was Hypothetical
