So I thought that I would drop the coin on it, and draw my own conclusion about this little fire starter. The first thing that drew my attention to this little guy was that it was a small, all in one fire starter. It can fit in just about anything, and I like to wear it on the beaded chain around my neck. The second thing is that for as small as it is, it is pretty tough. I tried to break this thin fearro rod, and it held up really well. It didn't snap with the hard strikes I was doing with it. The third thing is that it sparks just like my favorite custom fire steel from Goinggear.com. It lit up some fatwood in 2 strikes, PJ balls in 1 strike, and dryer lint in 1 strike as well. In conclusion, I think the NanoStriker has earned it's place on my neck with the Izula. I like it's quality construction and convient all in one fire starting abilities. I'd like to hear what others have to say about it, so feel free to post and let me know what you think!
