Exotac Ti Bottle question

Do any of you have an Exotac Ti bottle and if so have you actually heated water in it over an open fire and how many times?
How has the bottle held up to extended field use? Thanks.

No one has used the Exotac Ti bottle in a fire for heating water or for any extended use time?

I'm not sure if anyone has actually ponied up the money for one!

I like Ti so yes I ponied up for one. I've used it on my stove a couple times and once on the esbit. Works fine and has held up fine. But I wouldn't say it has extended field use. I don't think you should worry about the durability even though it is thinner and lighter than a Klean Kanteen.

I've been thinking of buying one as well. Damn they're expensive! This hasn't really confirmed anything for me. One sure thing is at least it's very corrosion resistant. Not that I've heard of stainless bottles rusting. Lighter is nice. But durability remains to be seen.
