Expand 110 to a Family?

I like the 110, I was first exposed to one probably 40 years ago going camping with my Dad. That said, I wouldn't mind updating one with some modern elements. MY ideal modern Buck 110 would have:
Standard 3.75" clip point blade
Thumb studs for one hand opening
0.5" thick grip with G10 scales
Pocket clip
Move the lock further up the back towards the hinge (similar to the Kabar Dozier folding hunter) to make it a little easier to close with one hand.

If they can sell it for less than $120 (ish) I'd buy one tonight.

I don't think there is an issue with Buck's product. I think it's more in marketing or lack of. I don't see any buck advertising, at all. Very few stores I frequent stock them, in fact I can only think of two right now that have any on display besides bass pro, gander mountain and the two Walmart carries.

I think the beauty of the Buck 110 is that despite an ever changing world it hasn't changed much and somehow still managed to remain popular. It's one of the last classic American tools left . One day soon you may not see anyone carrying a knife on a belt, in a sheath at all. We will all have some super light weight, fast opening, plastic handled knife in our pocket (most already do). Till then long live the American icon! Here's to hoping that Buck doesn't change a thing for a good while, and that youngsters will appreciate the weight and beauty of leather, brass and wood...and of a knife that you can pass on to your kids instead of just toss for the next consumer trend. I'm lucky enough to live in area where I can carry a Buck 110 everyday as an EDC and hope to do so the rest of my life.
