Show the tools you actually use, not the ones you show off on line but the outdoors blades you actually pick up as your headed out. Here's mine.

Hey RB...

This is basically more or less what I bring as far as tools go..
What isn't pictured is a Leatherman Wave multi-tool

Here's what I have on a daily basis. I always have the Spyderco and the LED light on me all the time. The SAK and lighter I carry most of the time. These are the only knives I use when I go hiking or backpacking. I sometimes carry a large fixed blade in my pack but never had the need for it.

The main fixed blade just returned from being rebeveled, which is the reason for the high shine. The Opinel is brand spanking new, and was meant to be used as a better folder than my Wave allows. The predecessor to the fixed blade above was my 510.

great stuff guys...

gene ingram #30 drop point and bark river PSK knife, along with my PSK, and i'm out...:D i sometimes carry a small hatchet or folding saw....

Posted the pictures on another thread recently. Have been playing with the golok and the small fixed blade for just about a couple of months, they start to have some patina. The Soldier is one of my EDC.

Don't have a camera so I had to borrow these. Hoping to add a Gossman PSK to the mix. I carry the Gerber hatchet in bad weather/winter.

Unless I'm testing something new this is what I take.

I don´t have any photos handy at the moment.

ME
Becker BK-7 set up as my PSK - on belt
Newt Livesay NRGS neck knife - around neck
Mora Triflex Craftsman or other Mora in pack normally but sometimes subs for the NRGS
Tramontina folding pruning saw
Sometimes I will swap the Becker for a Tramontina machete. I aslo have a SAK in my kit but I rarely use it.

My Daughter
14 or 16 inch Tramontina machete - most often on belt
Mora 2000 - on belt

Anyone else I take out
14 or 16 inch Tramontina machete
Mora SWAK w/ BSA Hotspark
I also loan out my Air Force Survival knife but prefer that they all use a SWAK. Mac

I always have a micra in my pack, usually with a whistle, mini compass\thermometer and Gi can opener attached. CRKT is EDC. Carcajou is my fishing knife. Rat-7 is camp knife and the CS kukhri is the camp chopper. I didn't picture any axes, just what I use most often.

And the blades I use most of all.

For something big, I'll typically carry either the 18" HI AK Kukri, on top, or the BRK Golok that's on the far left. (depending on whether I'm trying to ambulate with it, or just tossing it in a canoe or something)

For a smaller fixed blade I just can't seem toget away from this one:

Although I'm going to have to soon. I just gave this one to my son, before I made a replacement:eek:

The closest candidate I have is a file knife with a red cordwrap. Looks like a Scandinavian shiv, but has a certain unique degree of class to it.....:D

Hey Runs w Scissors,

Where can a guy find a great little knife like that?! Great looking!
