Expedition Africa: Survival Tips WATCH IT!

Wow that looks really impressive. Kevin I haven't really had a chance yet to interact with you here on the forums, being a relative noob and all, but congrats man, that is an awesome accomplishment.
On a side note, does anyone know if and what channel this might be showing on here in Canada (Toronto specifically)? I'd love to see this series.

Cheers!

This looks like it will be a cool show. Definitely need to set the Tivo.

Now we just need to make sure Marty and Aggie keep you in check Kevin. Marty said something at PWYP about you asking for a raise. :D Then someone chimed in that a 100% raise of 0 is still 0. (Wish I knew who it was that said it..was darn funny at the time.)

I watched a few of the survival topics last night and will watch the rest later today. I think you did a great job with them, they present good information without all the hype. You look good on camera. I hope the rest of the show is as well done as the survival segments. Mac

I watched a couple this morning -looks pretty good, and the series looks interesting.

I guess they are right about the camera adding 10 lbs ;) JK - great job Kevin!

This sucks ...I have Time Warner Cable and they're not offering the survival tips clips on demand

Did you offend them in any way Kev ? :D

Hey Kev,
Saw your post and couldn't help but ask if you were in Tanzania filming. If so did you get to meet Jim, Fuad, and Evordy? I spent two months last summer retracing Stanley's search for Dr. Livingsotne with some of the guys that helped the History Channel and have been itching to see this show. I walked 700 miles of the 980 mile trek; I can't wait to see Tanzania on tv.

James

James, you'll have to share some of your thoughts and experiences on that...that is an incredible feat and I'm really looking forward to seeing the show.

Tony,

Thanks for the link! I didn't realize it would show up there! As for going to Africa and meeting the explorers, I didn't get to. I wish I could and would welcome the challenge and opportunity. Thanks for all the support guys. I appreciate your feedback and hope not to disappoint. Hope this show inspires others to get outside and learn more.

Kev

Kevin, thanks to the link I finally got to see some of the videos. I couldn't find them on Cox Cable here in San Diego, even though the show is being broadcast here.

Congratulations: Nicely done.

Would be interesting to have WSS members or any BF members who live in Africa currently, giving us some narratives as the show goes on IMO.
