Expedition Barlow opinions

I have the boker expedition barlow (just got it this month) and I'm not super happy with it for the price. The thing that's irking me is the lack of care on the bolsters from the factory. The blade is slightly off-centered which I'm alright with but the bolsters make me wanna sell it.

It's even worse on the top and opposite side. Curiosity has me wanting to just keep it and use the abrasive sunshine cloths lol

I'd say that value is defined by what someone else is willing to pay at the time you're trying to sell it.

I purchased one of the expedition barlows. Fit and finish were great. I returned the knife because it felt petite in my hand.

That’s a great point to make Jax. The single blade Boker Barlows are smaller and slimmer than the 15s. It’s actually something I really enjoy about them, but the size isn’t for everyone and should be considered before making the purchase to avoid disappointment.

Anyone have a pic of the Boker single blade Barlow compared to a GEC 15 single blade Barlow? Is the Boker more in line with a GEC 25 Barlow?

No, it isn’t that much shorter, it’s just more slender than the 15.

I have three. All are perfect. Send that one back! I have more than a dozen GECs and the Boker Solingen quality is equal to GEC.
