Expensive knives you actually use

All of them have been carried, but I don't really have any noteworthy hard use tasks in my daily life, so they don't show all that much wear. I just cut with my knives generally plastic(baggies), cardboard, food and the very occasional zip tie. I wouldn't say I baby them, but I am conscious of the intended use. A coworker wanted to cut off a dowel (? , one of those plastic things you push into a hole to put a screw into) which was sticking out of a concrete floor, I didn't give him my knife for it because it would have scratched up the knife and scales.

I mostly own sub-$100 knives, but do carry all of them. Unfortunately I work a desk job, so my uses for a knife are limited on a daily basis. I got excited this weekend when I was carrying my new Griptillian and had a need to drill a hole into my son's water table. I was about to run for the cordless drill and drill a hole, but remembered I had the new knife. I whipped it open like a boss and punched/twisted a nice big hole in the plastic to drain the water. Plastic water tables. Yep, that's my hardest use this year (not counting the time I needed to cut my salad when I got takeout the other day).

Benchmade 943 Black/Black. Shown in the pic with a new Kershaw Westin I'm trying. This Benchmade has been through hell with me, in actual structure fires, salt water fishing, hunting, diving, construction, etc. I was not nice to her, but she never let me down.. Look at the blade in the pic, I sharpened it so many times, the serrations disappeared...just sent her in for her third blade & Axis tune up...

CS Ranch Boss Stockman is either on me or in my CCW sling along with my Grohmann #3 Yachtsman or Puma Hunter's Pal.

I regularly use my CS Gurkha Kukri, Trail Master, SRK, and several HI and Tora kukri.
