Expensive knives?!?!?

There are quite a few radio DJ's who think they are pretty funny.

I disagree & could live without their BS.

If it wasn't for news and weather, I could live without live broadcast.

I tend to yell "Shutup and play a song" whenever I play the radio.
MP3's CD's and the off switch get lots of use.

It's too bad that our work get ridiculed, but what can you do?

Fight back in the media.

You do a WIP here, but I also mean outside the knife world.
Even if I think TV is BS, it's powerful.

Rachel Ray = a granton Edged Santoku Furi in every kitchen.

Call her up and get your stuff on TV.
But have a plan in place on how to deal with that huge peak in demand.

Pre write press releases packaged as human interest stories about your knives , process and work.
Make videos and get it to local or larger agencies.
It worked for Bob Kramer and Cut brooklyn
(kitchen knives are more PC)

Eventually they will report on you to fill up some screen time.

Since they are inherently lazy, one agency will copy the content of another.
It's just up to you to write and present that content to them for consumption.

Seriously, how many news stories have you seen that present youtube content?
It's all about what is "ontrend"

The only reason the Nick Cage story went viral is because he's about to share a jail cell with Wesley Snipes for tax evasion, so it's bizarre that he's buying *any* expensive item, whether that's a car, or a custom knife, or a dinosaur skull, or a rare martian meteorite (he's bought all of those)....
I think it's a stragety to convert cash into items he can keep from the IRS, then convert to cash again later.
I know for sure I would have done much better buying a Loveless or 10 than I have ever done in stocks and mutual funds.
