Hello everybody!

Lately I have not been able to work as much as I'd like with the current lockdowns going on. That has given me the chance to experiment on new techniques, finishes and focus on getting better. This knife is pretty much that (hence the tittle), a new for me finish on the guard and getting my first successful heirloom fit on the handle. Definitely not perfect but I will get there sooner or later.

Steel: 8670
Handle: Mild steel, white corian and black g10 spacers, satinwood and carbon fiber pin

Dimensions:
Overall lenght: 25.5 cm - 10.03''
Blade lenght: 10.5 cm - 4.13''
Blade widght: 3.2 cm - 1.25''
Blade thickness: 4 mm - 0.157''
Handle lenght: 13 cm - 5.11''

Full flat grind with a satin finish. The guard has been blackened with oil, it has a greyish finish with various heat colours. The handle has an heirloom fit, far from perfect but an acceptable first successful attempt.

It comes with a dark brown leather sheath and a belt loop. The sheath is not ready yet, you can choose for either left or right side carry.

I'm really glad everything went good! Shipping has been super slow lately due to the pandemic.

Thank you again for everything!
PS I will keep you updated with the second one once I make more progress on it.
