This is the Explorer, my take on the ideal general outdoor & bushcraft knife. It's quite ideal for use in wilderness survival & bushcraft tasks.

Blade & Edge The steel is 5/32 inch thick O1 high carbon tool steel, heat treated & tempered in an electronic furnace to an RC hardness of 58-60. 4 inch long cutting edge. Hand-rubbed satin finish sides, mirror polished scandivex cutting edge. The scandivex edge is slightly shallower than my usual scandi's, with a hint of convex added.

Handle & Scales. The 4.75 inch is equipped with black canvas micarta scales. Red liners. Fastened together with two stainless steel loveless bolts & a 5/16 stainless steel tube.

Sheath. 8-9 oz vegetable tanned tooling leather. Stitched with waxed artificial sinew. Coal black color, hit with a high-sheen water repellent finish.

Price. $220.00 plus $5.00 shipping. The first who says "I'll take it" either here, through PM, or through my email gets it. I accept PayPal, money order, and check.

great looking knife Cody.. i like this model a lot.. one of these days i am going to have to get one..

Because of my waiting list (which I'm a bit behind on), I usually don't get to sell the random knife like this... but I have been entertaining the though of creating some exclusive knives to sell on here. They'd be a bit off of the beaten path, challenging to make, and probably fantasy inspired in some way (namely Lord of the Rings and Warcraft comes to mind), but still functional. Just an idea, nothing set in stone. I just feel that sometimes you need to change it up in order to keep things interesting!

Wow...simply stunning work, I can tell how comfy that handle will be without even touching the knife !
