Explosion Bonded S30V and Ti???

I might as well say my 2 cents as well it being an open forum.

Plain and simple

Price is to HIGH
Design is really out there for the fixed blade (Might be a strong grip, but i'd prefer a hak, la griffe or something from perrin thats similar.
The folder looks like a Byrd in some ways, but so unappealing to the eye

The marketing is bad and i mean bad:D, but just a question is the first time G10 is being used as a sheath.

anyways take care

aj

p.s i love the firing demo in the end :p

See, none of you get why the price is so high.

$50 for the knife itself
$10 for the sheath

$740 to keep Miltner from tactically invading your home and eating your spleen.

Really, its a bargain. I mean I sure wouldn't send someone who looked like that MY address...

Hey, whats that noise? AIEEEEEEEEE..........

His LaGriffe doesn't look too bad to me. I wish more makers offered skeleton versions like this. I'm not sure how I feel about the blade being hollowed out like it is, but I bet it makes for a very light carry, which IMO is a primary virtue of Mr. Perrin's design.

I've known Richard and Julie for several years. They are stand up folks. They are taking the risk of bringing their ultra high preformance knives to the market. They do have very high standards for their products. These folks are testing new ground and I applaud their courage and their standards. This is the kind of effort that will push the market and make it grow; we will all benefit...Take Care...Ed

I like them! Look very practical, But theres no way could I see myself paying so much for a skeleton blade.

ROFLMAO!!! :D:D:D

I think he would have a shot with more conventional looking models. There are some nice features, they look very well made and easy to look after.

his marketing is a little bit over the top visually, it's the first impression bias, i'm looking for a good knife, not a bodyguard, that's why I like spdyderco's website, first photo you see is the knife and nothing else. If Miltner had a different PR approach (change out the photo on the landing page), i would be much more receptive to his product.

This is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I laughed out loud and almost woke up my roomate. I thought you were being serious until I read the $740 part... oh my word...
