These knives are incredibly rare, although apparently still made in limited quantities in Spain. I never realized this was a "castration" design, just thought it was a super cool navaja skinner.

Maker is "D. Jose Exposito." Blade is stamped "Exposito Albacete." This style of knife is called the "Navaja Capaora" or "Lengua de Vaca."

VERY well made folder with a strong lock and razor sharp edge. Steel is MoVa, which is similar to German 1.4116, basically a superior version of 440C. Handle is honey horn. Components are nickel silver.

I always loved how these knives looked, and after decades FINALLY got the opportunity to own one. I love everything about this knife, good weight, feels great in the hand. But speaking of hands, I am disabled and lost one of mine and this is difficult to open one handed. Bought this as a gift for someone, but that never happened, so now I got this cool knife I have no use for aside from admiring how awesome it is.

My brother bought this new decades ago, stuck it in the safe and forgot about it, then sold it to me. Looks like it was never carried or used. These sell for about 200 USD, plus shipping and customs from Spain, and I have NEVER seen one on this forum or on eBay in 20+ years. Doubt you'll ever see one for sale here again.

Need money this weekend! Listing this magnificent ball cutting blade for only $75 shipped via USPS Priority, United States only. I prefer Paypal F&F or Zelle. If this does not sell by Saturday morning it will be withdrawn, because it's awesome and I can gift it to someone else eventually. And if you ACT NOW, I'll include a FREE extra navaja! (not nearly as cool as this though)
